Learning Outcomes

Students will
- become aware and understand various requirements for event settings and environments, e.g. from the perspectives of safety, schedule, stage building, built environment, competition, permit practices, funding and co-operation
- learn to apply what they have learned during the course on a first-year production

- study of various event settings and environments; their properties and requirements
-sustainable development in event planning
- application of the knowledge on a first year production

- lectures, possibly an exam on literature, work in small groups

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5: Students understand the requirements, challenges and possibilities of various settings and events and take them into account in event production. They can evaluate the potential of various settings from the perspective of event management.
Grade 3: Students understand the requirements, challenges and possibilities of various settings and events and take them into account in event production.
Grade 1: Students identify various event settings and environments.
