Learning Outcomes

The students will
- become aware of what uncompelled internal and external entrepreneurship might involve in their own practice
- be introduced to typical features of entrepreneurship in the health and social field, e.g. ethical considerations, registration and legislation
- learn to work with entrepreneurial attitude in multiprofessional teams in health and social services

Student's Workload

24 hours in the classroom, 22 hours independently, 20 hours for organizing an event

Contents

- uncompelled internal and external entrepreneurship
- entrepreneurial approach to work, entrepreneurship
- legislation on health and social field entreprises
- the process of establishing an enterprise for health and social services, packaging of products, the bidding process and marketing
- arranging a wellbeing/entrepreneurial event

Assessment Criteria

Pass

Students complete all online assignments. They are aware how uncompelled internal entrepreneuship is visible in their own activity. They examine external entrepreneurship as an employment option and analyse features of entrepreneurship in the health and social field. Students contribute as equal members to the work a multi-professional team.

Fail
Students to not assume responsibility for their assigments or do not complete them. They express little interest in the topic and they are often absent without acceptable explanation. In multi-professional teams students remain observers and do not contribute on an equal basis.
