They will understand issues related to product ergonomics, dimensioning, the functionality of shapes and stability. Students will also learn about different wood materials and structures. They will make ergonomic tests and develop shapes based on an idea and document the stages of their designing process.

Upon completion of the course, students will
- be knowledgeable of the designing process, be competent in comprising a portfolio and understand how to compile documents related to designing.
