The student is capable of preparing a business plan and is able to function in a group. The student identifies ERP-systems. The student is able to appropriately interact with others; the student will know how to take others into consideration and accommodate the demands of the situation and the professional field in communicating coherently, convincingly and clearly. The student is capable to develop Finnish language skills and skills in communication as part of professional know-how. The student knows the most important business information sources and is able to use them.

- Group work: business plan (30 %) and information retrieval (10 %)
- Individual performance: basics of business operations exam (40 %) and essay (20 %)
