Learning Outcomes

Students will understand the central role of quality management as an operating model for personnel in elderly care. They understand the role of the quality management system in the development of elderly care and in risk management, and they will be competent in applying quality management methods and tools in their own work. Students will also understand the significance of evaluation and measurement in the development of elderly care. They will be able to plan and implement quality management activities together with elderly care personnel and become competent in evaluating the quality of services and in using a variety of quality management tools.

Assessment Methods

Active participation in lectures and assignments. The grade is based on two parts: examination (50 %) and development assignment (50 %). (Numerical assessment 1-5)
