Upon completion of the course, students will
• be competent in organising, planning and carrying out an exhibition or trade-fair stall in a group based on the results of a project.
• be capable of presenting their own work and the work of others in marketing communication situations.
• be competent in designing and creating visual material for various trade-fair themes and exhibition facilities.
• be competent in taking care of their own areas of responsibility in the organisation of trade fairs.
• be able to organise the things involved in projects and contact the necessary people (networking).
• have the knowledge they need to make schedules, compile a budget and distribute tasks and to work accordingly.
• be able to keep track of the hours they work and report them.
There may be several project teams working at the same time, which concentrate on various themes for exhibitions and trade fairs.
Student's Workload
- Lectures, supervised assignments and teamwork in projects: 128 h
- Independent study: 80 h

Contents
• Designing a trade fair and/or exhibition based on a given theme (structures, lighting, organisation and budgeting)
• Modelling (miniature/model) of the place
• Graphic design (brochure, product information)
• Trial construction of the stall, selection of products
• Project management
• Customer service during events
