Learning Outcomes
The student can plan business operations, relating the plans to the business environment. The student can describe the antecedents of profitable business and apply his / her knowledge to writing a busines plan. The student can produce basic documents relating to startign a business and can create basic business letters. The student knows the key stake holders of a business and understands the importance of networking. The student knows the key sources of information in business management and can use them.

The student is able to describe the meaning of the business environment. The student is capable of preparing a business plan and is able to function in a group. The student is able to appropriately interact with others; the student will know how to take others into consideration and accommodate the demands of the situation and the professional field in communicating coherently, convincingly and clearly. The student is capable to develop Finnish language skills and skills in communication as part of professional know-how. The student knows the most important business information sources and is able to use them.
