Learning Outcomes
Students will be familiar with the latest methods and technology for cultivating, harvesting, storing and prepping specialty plants. They will also learn about the factors affecting the amount and quality of the harvest.

Assessment Criteria
Grade 1. The student names special plants and defines the possibilities of their cultivation. The student explains the main things of the cultivation technique of special plants and lists factors which affect the yield and quality of the crop.
Grade 3. The student defines the term special plant and compares the possibilities of their cultivation. The student makes the summary of the cultivation techniques of special plants and estimates factors which affect the yield and quality of the crop.
Grade 5. The student justifies the term special plant and analyses their cultivation possibilities. The student is interested in studying the cultivation techniques of special plants and compares them. The student analyses factors which affect the yield and quality of the crop.
