Learning Outcomes
The student studies the position of the farm businesses as a part of the national and international economy, competition and financial system. The student understands the changes which take place in the environment on the entrepreneurship and learns to estimate the future critically. The student can explain the administration of the agriculture and vocational and commercial organizations. The student knows the main features of the agricultural policy of the EU.
Student's Workload
The student's work consists of participation in the lecture teaching, of independent studying and the making and reporting of exercises the themes of the study module.
Contents
Agricultural enterprises as part of the economy. Basic concepts of the agricultural policy; significance of the agriculture in the society; sectors of the agricultural policy; WTO negotiations and common agricultural policy of the EU. Subsidy systems.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Theoretical lectures, reading up the material, exercises. The students analyze and create information as groupwork.
Assessment Criteria
The acceptable performing of the study module requires that the student takes the written examinations acceptably and has drawn up and has reported all the given exercises acceptably.

Level 3. The student perceives the significance of the environment of agricultural enterprises and agricultural policy and can apply knowledge to the practice.
