Students will be able to
-explain the key concepts of management and strategic thinking and describe their importance in business development
-analyze the importance of various elements and fields of know-how for business strategy
-analyze the importance of strategies and strategic thinking in non-profit organizations

Assessment Criteria
Level 1. Students will be able to explain the main contents of the key concepts in strategic management and thinking. They will be also able to explain what internal and external operation environment factors companies and organizations have to analyze, and what managing the field of know-how means.
Level 3. Students will be able to explain the content and development of strategic management and thinking, as well as the importance of strategic management in different kinds of organizations. They also will be able to explain what factors organizations have to analyze in their internal and external operation environments, and how the analysis could be done. Moreover, the students will be able to explain among other things how the management of the field of know-how can be used in achieving the competitive edge.
Level 5. Students will be able to analyze strategic management and thinking in real business life applications. They will be able to explain and analyze what different factors organizations have to analyze in internal and external operation environment by using examples from real life conditions, and how the field of managing know-how can be utilized in this task.
