Learning Outcomes
Students will
- become familiar with some action-based group work methods
- understand what genuine, activating group work involves and become aware of their role as group members and leaders
- recognise various stages in group activity and learn to work appropriately in various groups
- learn to plan and carry out oral presentations and understand their meaning in the world of work.

Contents
- Introduction to group work, roles, power relationships, lifespan, action-based methods
- The course includes an overnight group formation camp, for which a small fee will be collected
- A presentation as an interactive situation, factors of successful presentations

Assessment Criteria
- Grade 5: Students are aware of how their actions influence the group and they are able to contribute positively. They know how to appropriately plan and give oral presentations. They understand the importance of group work and presentation skills in the world of work (and in cultural management).
- Grade 3: Students are aware of how their actions influence the group. They know how to appropriately plan and give oral presentations. They understand the importance of group work and presentation skills in the world of work (and in cultural management).
- Grade 1: Students recognise some group phenomena and know how to give oral presentations.
