Learning Outcomes
Principles of environmental protection
Students will understand the administration and legislation related to environmental protection. They will feel personally responsible for the environment both at work and during their leisure time. They will be familiar with the general situation of environmental protection on the global level and especially in Finland.
Quality control and environmental protection systems
Students will be introduced to various quality control and environmental protection systems and their structures. These systems help to identify an organisation's areas of development and improve activities while abiding by the pronciples of sustainable development. Upon completion of the course, students will be competent in utilising the systems as a tool for managing an organisation. They will also be competent in creating a quality control and environmental protection system according to the ISO standards.
