Learning Outcomes
Students understand basic concepts and vocabulary relating to the field of culture.
They are competent in presenting their education, competence, professional field and projects.
They competently manage in communication situations at work, using a variety of communication channels and correct style.
Students learn the basics of project communication in English (e.g. project presentations, reporting, networking). They know how to communicate with project and production teams, how to give instructions and seek information. They know how to sell and market their own know-how, e.g. regarding projects and self-employment.

Assessment Criteria
5 - Students manage in demanding, spoken and written communication situations related to their own field competently and efficiently. They are able to spontaneously describe themselves, their education and competence. Students use the vocabulary of their own field almost flawlessly. They can prepare and deliver a convincing, well-structured presentation with appropriate supplementary material. Students express themselves using appropriate style and are able to extensively respond to spontaneous questions. Students know how to adapt their communication style to various situations and audiences. They understand both the main points and details in texts of their professional field and are able to apply and explain what they have read.
3 - Students can competently manage in the most common spoken and written communication situations related to their field.They can spontaneously describe themselves, their education and their competence. Students use the vocabulary of their own field almost flawlessly. They can independently prepare and deliver a brief but easy-to-understand presentation. Students adapt their communication style according to the situation and audience. Students understand common professional texts and manage relatively well in predictable working-life situations.
1- Students can manage in the most common spoken and written communication situations. They use simple structures and limited vocabulary. They can describe themselves, their education and competence. Students can deliver a simple and intelligible presentation on a topic they are familiar with using ready-made material and tools.
