Learning Outcomes
Students are able to define the basic concepts of electronic business and online trade. They can list the stages of the planning and implementation of an online service. Students know how to plan and implement a functional online service (website) by means of publishing software. They know how to use markup languages and style sheets and publish a website on the Internet. They can evaluate the significance of functional online services for businesses and other organisations.

Assessment Criteria
The course is assessed on a scale of 1 to 5.
Excellent (5)
Students are able to design, implement and publish a website using different techniques. Students can consider a website for usability and accessibility. Students are able to assess the significance of the site for business.
Good (4-3)
Students are able to implement and publish web pages using a web publishing software and markup and style sheet language. Students are able to pay attention to the usability of websites implementation.
Satisfactory (2-1)
Students are able to define the basic concepts of online business. Students are able to create simple web pages using web publishing software. They can write and use basic markup and stylesheet codes. They are able to publish web pages on a web server.
