Students are familiar with the junior professional’s work duties and their requirements in construction management.

Contents
Familiarisation with work duties, construction techniques, occupational safety and various workplace practices in the field of construction. During this practical training period, students assist senior construction management professionals and engineers in construction management in real work places. Students draw up a plan for their practical training period, to be complemented together with the lecturer and workplace supervisor, and assessed at the end of the period. Students also regularly write learning diaries throughout the practical training period.

Assessment Methods
Report on practical training. The assessment is based on the attainment of the aims set. The emphasis is on the student’s professional growth. Assessment pass/fail.
Further Information
The minimum extent of the practical training period is 5 cr. During the first and second year of study, students may undertake a maximum of 15 cr of practical training.
