The aim of the course is to study how festivals and events have ’greened’ themselves, what actions they have taken to build their festival more sustainable and what does the future bring to theevent organisers and for the students who wish to employ on the field.

Greening our festivals and events has rapidly grown one of the key topics of event management. Many event organisers have changed their way of producing, marketing and thinking as the issue of sustainability gains increasing emphasis on legistlation, customer satisfactory and environmental issues.

The student do research based on the topic of their research project
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
The course consists of a theme seminar that introduces the theme to the student. The course involves independent study &research on the topic the student team chooses after the seminar. Also discussions on e-learning environment are involved. The participants will also present their small research projects for the group in a seminar at the end of the course.
