Learning Outcomes

Occupational and environmental safety in construction
Students are competent in planning purchases based on the requirements of occupational and environmental safety.

Competence in the construction process
Students are familiar with the house construction site purchases, their planning and with the basics of supervision. They know the main stages of planning purchases. Students are able to draw up agreements; they know what kind of meetings are required at different stages and how to draw up the required memoranda.

Types of purchases; planning and supervision of purchases; planning and implementation of a single purchase; subcontract and the stages of purchasing; agreement terms and supervision of contracts: plan for supervision and contract agreement; material purchasing and the related agreement terms; supervision and control of material purchasing; disorders in purchasing and their managements; act on the contractor’s obligations and liability; site meetings and memoranda
