Assessment Criteria

Grade 5
Students
- demonstrate that they understand the meaning of culture as a key to an individual's behavior
- express a positive attitude towards the development of multicultural co-operation
- in the exam, demonstrate comprehensive command over the themes studied and apply the knowledge in practical interaction
- understand how immigration and traumatic experiences shape an individual's life.

Grades 3-4
Students
- understand the meaning of culture as a key to an individual's behavior
- understand the viewpoints discussed during the course and
understand problems related to immigration and traumatic experiences
- demonstrate that they know essential features of the cultures discussed during the course
- are prepared to support and understand the situation of immigrants or minorities

Grades 1-2
Students
- know central features of the themes discussed during the course and, in the exam, demonstrate that they have basic knowledge of the topics
- attend lectures and achieve an understanding of central problems of being different in society

Fail = 0
Students
- do not achieve adequate competence
