05l1 Competence in managing indoor environment |
A Bachelor of Engineering: - possesses competence in determining the goals for indoor air and understands of the requirements for comfort, health and safety - is capable of assessing temperatures, cleanliness of the air, humidity and sound - understands the quality requirements for indoor air from the point of view of the commissioner and the consumer - understands the importance of the indoor environment at the workplace as a natural factor in production - possesses competence in analysing the future possibilities of building technology and the impacts of various solutions on those possibilities. |

- Understands the designing process of indoor environment technology

05l5 Implementation competence |
A Bachelor of Engineering: - possesses competence in implementing indoor environment technology and understands how to connect it to the construction process - understands the regulations pertaining to the sub-contracting of indoor environment technology as well as other guidelines and recommendations; - has command of the management duties, labour agreements and terms of contract for an indoor environment technology site - understands the processes pertaining to offers and contracts and is capable of calculating offers for HVAC - knows the procedures involved in start-up and reception - posseses the qualifications required by authorities for sub-contractors dealing with indoor environment technology systems. |
05l6 Management and maintenance competence |
A Bachelor of Engineering: - understands and applies knowledge of the requirements set for indoor environment technology as regards maintenance when designing solutions - understands the occupational safety requirements and regulations associated with heating, plumbing, ventilation and automation systems - understands the impact of maintenance on costs during the life cycle of a building - is competent in writing maintenance guidelines and manuals, and understands the practices involved in making contracts for property maintenance - knows the formal qualifications required of consumers of indoor environment technology. |
